Beef Chap

Ingredients

 

1 cup of boneless beef
1 cup of onion paste
2 tablespoons of ginger paste
2 tablespoons of garlic paste
1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
2 tablespoons of red chili powder
1 tablespoon of coriander powder
1 tablespoon of cumin powder
3-4 cinnamon sticks
3-4 cloves
3-4 cardamoms
1 cup of plain yoghurt
salt as needed
soybean oil-as needed for frying
1 cup of crispy brown fried onion slices

 

Directions

 

Mix all the ingredients together excluding the oil and onions. Marinate for 3-4 hours.
Pour the mixture onto a saucepan and allow the beef to boil and cook.
Heat a frying pan with soybean oil. Shallow fry the meat pieces until they turn red brown.
Sprinkle the fried onion slices or peyaj beresta on the beef chap and serve with naan or roti.
